From the 1st of January 2015 the BBC will phase out WMA support for the Listen Again service so it will become unavailable on some older products

The BBC have been making significant changes to the way they will deliver their Listen Again service after the 1st January 2015.

Unfortunately the updates the BBC will be making will affect a few of our older products as they will no longer be compatible with the way that the BBC’s Listen Again service is broadcast. This decision was outside Pure’s control and will affect Avanti Flow, Sensia, Siesta Flow, Evoke Flow, Oasis Flow and Sirocco 550.

Please be aware that this will not affect BBC Podcasts.

Most Listen Again content is also listed as a Podcast so please review your Listen Again favourites and search under Podcasts.

Customers may also see some changes on some live radio content if the BBC do not have the right to that particular stream.

More information can be found on the BBC website found here

Alarm failures on Sensia 200D, Evoke F4 and One Flow

We have had very recent customer reports that some alarms are failing on these products. It appears to be down to the radio, if not connected to the internet, changing to January dates on its internal clock and not December, this could cause weekend alarms to sound on weekdays and vice-versa. Our engineering team are currently working to get this issue resolved.

To avoid experiencing this issue while we resolve matters please use the following method:

When you put your radio into standby please only briefly tap the power button to put the radio into standby. While this still puts the radio into standby it is still in an operating state where it communicates with your router and obtains the correct date.

If you hold the power button down for longer than the brief tap then you will put the radio into low power standby. This will disconnect the radio from your router and the internet and the alarm could then fail.

You will also need to keep the router on overnight.

    Our apologies for any inconvenience
